Event now in 8th year!

A great autumn season trail race in our usual Ranger Ultras ‘low-key, big-enjoyment, great-value’ style, which runners tell us they love. Also a excellent choice for ‘first mountain ultra’ runners. The route is not waymarked (beyond fixed finger posts) but is a straightforward out, over Pen-Y-Ghent and back route based in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales. Total ascent 1280 metres. GPX file is sent to all entries well in advance of the race. Refreshment and drinks on the course. In the village is a good choice of local B&B accommodation, pubs and shops. We offer event hospitality in HQ, finishers medals and winners’ trophies.
